Yes they do
They have fried oysters and they yummy
They have your usual on tap and bottled brews. And also speciality drinks
Yes, it is on the bay side and there is a dock.
No it's super casual order from the bar they give you a number. Simple I loved it.
I don't know for a fact but, I would think that it will take them that much time to clean up, scrub the grill clean the grease, finish cooking for people already who have been seated. A kitchen takes some time to clean it the right way.
Not set up that way. You order, sit, and then they bring you your food. No wait staff.
Great food great atmosphere my compliments to the chef on the south shell crab sandwich. I will definitely come back.
The Bayou burger is outstanding! Huge hamburger and plenty of fries!
The food was delicious and the staff were very nice and pleasant I like trying new restaurants and this was my first time trying cafe nola and I will be going again. I'm a beach goer an I love great food..
The food at cafe nola was very good. The downside to this place is, there is no ramp. The only way to enter or exit are steep wooden steps. My 88 year old mother had a hard time walking those steps. But, once she got into the restaurant, she enjoyed the food.
Softshell crab poboy and seafood gumbo were great. A bit pricey, but really good stuff..
By far the best local restaurant ever! Food was on point! Delicious!
Nice setting and friendly staff. Had to order and pay at front and seat yourself. Food was quick but wasn't hot and some was not warm. Would come back if food was served hot.
I ate here while staying at holiday inn on the beach almost every day great selection of brews, friendly staff. I had the shrimp, and gumbo great flavors. One night I had the blackened grouper with brocolli . the flavor was top notch. I was a little disappointed with the portion size relative to the price on this one. 5 stars all the way. support our local businesss!
One of the most consistent restaurants in our area and by FAR the best gumbo on the gulf coast... Coming from someone that has tried to perfect gumbo making, you will be hard pressed to find any better roux anywhere...
Great place to eat and drink. Great staff! Friendly service. Great view of the water.
Surely all the seafood it's great... but went for Hamburger... Amazing!
Came from Dallas and read the review about the Nola platter. We are a fanily of 5 and it was PERFECT for us! Service was super fast, food was really good. Plenty of shrimp, 4 fish filets, the fried oysters were REAL oysters. Not that popcorn junk. Hush puppies were great, fries were awesome and the onion rings were really good too. No complaints on this place, great staff, cool spot and great food all around. Will be back next visit.
Came to visit on 6/13. Had to stand in a long line for about 20 to 30 minutes. Then you sit down and wait for your food. I was there at 530 didn't leave until 730 about time I waited to order and for my food. At this time it was almost time for me to leave the beach so it's like I drove to eat. UghI will tell you the Café NOLA Seafood Platter for $58.95 is not worth it if you don't eat oysters or the 2 soft crab they give you. They pile it on top of a bunch of fries and onions rings to make it look like it's a bunch. But really a waste of money if you don't eat everything on it. They don't allow you to substitute more fish or shrimp. But THE FOOD THAT I DID EAT FROM THE PLATTER IS GOOD. The fish, shrimp especially the hushpuppies were the bomb. Worth eating but not the Platter for me. It was a waste. Also 3 or 4 ppl can eat off that platter.
This is my favorite place to eat at the beach. StayedY the beach for 6 days and ate there 5x. The oyster po' boy is awesome, the Dixie Burger is phenomenal, and the debris is great. This seriously is the awesome place. I would recommend just getting a half of a po boy, because if you get a full you're going to have a ton left over.
This was a great experience! Our server was super nice and explained that we would order at the bar, but they would bring our food and clean up after us. The food came out fast and was absolutely delicious. We ate outside to enjoy the view of the water. The only downside for me was having to go up and down quite a few steps with an injured ankle to get to and from this second story restaurant. There might be a ramp or another way to get up and down, but I didn't see it.
So its our 1 year anniversary and Cafe Nola didn't disappoint.....I've been in customer care for 13 years + and every single person there treated me like I was their first customer....the food was top of the line I'm from Louisiana and they're doing us the right way no one on this strip got them beat.... I will be back I hope they thrive through this pandemic 💪🏾💪🏾 support family because that's what my husband and I felt like 👍
The seafood gumbo was very authentic. Cant wait to go back and the views are amazing.
Food was fresh and good. Large portions. Staff was friendly and attentive. Great atmosphere. Restaurant is small but does have beach access.
Great PO-boy. Great burger with fried green mater and pimento cheese. And cold beer
Fantastic. Mullet special cooked New Orleans style. Enough for two meals. Pay no attention to the name of the fish. My Granny always said " it is not what is in the pot that counts, it's who's the cook". Delicious, fast, excellent service.
Cafe NOLA is a mix between fast food and casual dining. The fast food part being you order at the counter. The staff at the counter the night we were there was very knowledgeable and helpful. The casual is they take if the rest; bring out your food and clear the table when you’re done. The food was amazing! Everything had the right balance of spice and flavor. My Andouille Po’Boy was the perfect balance aid all ingredients. Plus, it wasn’t over dressed with lettuce. The portions are huge! But you’re getting quality food for a great price.
Great atmosphere. Beautiful view and outdoor seating. Among us we had the charbroiled oysters, crawfish and andouille dip, seafood gumbo, fried oysters, fried shrimp, softshell crab, grilled grouper sandwich and barbecue shrimp. All items were excellent. This was our second visit and we most certainly recommend Cafe NOLA if you are ever on Pensacola Beach!
This place is a lot of fun, good food nice people. We set out on the patio and had a great view of the beach. I ate this roast beef po-boy and it was fantastic. I would definitely recommend this place to everybody
Fantastic food and service. I went last year for my 18th birthday and i was very satisfied
Came here with my two Labrador retrievers to kill some time and grab a bite. The seafood gumbo and grilled Andouille sausage were both awesome and the staff were super helpful. The whole outside deck is dog friendly for well behaved dogs, and they even brought out some treats for my pups! I'll definitely be back again!
As a native of Louisiana, I can say without a doubt that Cafe Nola is as authentic as they come. Almost every inch of this place is immersive in Louisiana culture, and the food is absolutely phenomenal. I plan to make this my regular stop Everytime I visit Pensacola Beach.
Fun place, great atmosphere and delicious food. Charbroiled oyesters, seafood gumbo, shrimp basket, soft shell crab and poboys were all delicious. Would definitely go back anytime!
First time there and all I can say is the food WAS AMAZING
Fabulous. The shrimp po boy was huge and so delicious
We had the meat pockets, a half alligator sausage Po boy, a surf and turf Po boy, and some fries. The best item was the surf and turf Po boy, the flavor in the beef is rich and the shrimp were cooked perfectly. I also really liked the tartar sauce, which is odd to point out a condiment, but it had a bright and refreshing flavor. The meat pockets lacked flavor and the skin on the alligator sausage made the Po boy hard to eat because I was left tearing at the sausage casing instead of enjoying the whole sandwich. The staff seemed friendly and the place seemed clean. We will be back to try again.
Muffaleta was good. Fried green tomato sandwich was quite good. Fish sandwich was mediocre. Burger ordered medium was cooked well done and burned. Shrimp poboy bread was disintegrated mush.I ordered this to go, so in-store experience might be different.
The best, for was amazing. And there was a great sized portion
The food was so good we ate there twice while we were in town for my birthday. One night we dined in and the next week I take out. The night we dined in was for my birthday we sat outside on the patio and I was just was so nice the food was amazing and after she found out it was my birthday she brought me the most amazing dessert. Bananas Foster cheesecake oh my goodness it was the best ever. I would go back there just to get that! Highly recommended if you're at Pensacola Beach.
The food here is delicious. I ordered the poached eggs over softshell crab over fried green tomatoes. It was cooked to perfection!
The food is absolutely delicious everyone there was talking about how good their food was. Very friendly service and timely. I would definitely recommend it.
Fish basket with onion rings was great. Way too much food for one person. The red beans and rice was so thick and had big chunks of sausage, was so good. It took about 30 minutes before our food was brought to us but was worth the wait. Next time Bren and I will share a fish basket and get a bowl of red beans and rice. We loved the place.
Excellent service and great atmosphere!
Ordered takeout to boat and the service and food was fantastic. Will do this again!
was really good food! and good service the location is amazing front the beach!
Best food in the area along with amazing views!
Great location, and plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy the view. The soft shell crab poboy was delicious, as well as the crawfish and andouille dip appetizer. My son got the burger and it was done to perfection! All of the staff were pleasant and helpful. I will definitely visit again, God willing.
Food and atmosphere was great. Food was fast and hot. Ordered the full oyster PO boy and it was huge. Tons of oysters on it. Fries were a great addition. Also had the fried green tomatoes which was a great starter. I did expect going in that it was going to be a full service restaurant... it is not so be prepared for that. It’s order at the counter and grab your own drinks. This was fine, just not expected.
Great customer service a whole the time!!Amazing food and drinks! The beat staff recommend 100%!
Blackened Chicken sandwich delicious! Plus great views
Huge portions! So yummy.
Okay food, I didn't get any condiments for my empananadas or the boudins i ordered. Priced too high for the quality and taste. Also keep in mind they are not boudin balls they are boudin with a whole casing. Ordered carry out
Amazing! Went two weeks ago. The lights on the whole island went out and I was impressed to see how they kept everything rolling. It was very pleasant outside so we sat on the porch overlooking the bay. The staff was very friendly, and the food was amazing. You order as you walk in the door so there is no need to wait on that. Will definitely be back!
My husband and I love New Orleans flavors, and this place did not disappoint! We ordered the Nola Burger and we couldn't stop talking about how good the burger was! We would definitely visit again.
Wonderful atmosphere, great food , breath taking views and absolute great staff. We will come back everytime we visit Pensacola.
Fantastic Food that was true NOLA! Red Beans and Rice and honestly everything we ordered was fabulous. People were super nice for being outside seating only and busy Saturday Night. Definitely will return 😎
